Behind The Scenes: Darkest Hour

Darkest Hour have been busy working on their new album The Human Romance and just released a video of some behind the scenes footage of the recording process. Ryan and John give you some insight on what to expect on the new album when it drops February 22nd. Check it out at the jump.

Darkest Hour interviews Dillinger Escape Plan at SXSW

Darkest Hour and Dillinger Escape Plan were both at SXSW with us in Austin. We thought just throwing a microphone at them could turn out to be a good time. And it was indeed:

Two bands and two new albums

Darkest Hour and Bring Me The Horizon have both began working on new releases for next year.

Darkest Hour, who just got off tour with Trivium, are in the midst of finding a new label and are starting to write for an upcoming album during the process. They plan to start recording early in 2010. We wish them the best in finding an awesome label for the release!

For now we are waiting on the new music video for "The Tides." It's been shot and currently being edited.

Bring Me The Horizon seem to already have some material written and will be hitting the studio over the next few weeks with producer Fredrik Nordstom; he's worked on albums with Dimmu Borgir and In Flames...so we know it's legit. We can expect the album in summer 2010.

What Oli Sykes has to say about it:

It’s been one hell of a year, non-stop for us really! Our second album Suicide Season has taken us further than we ever thought was possible. I think we found our unique sound with that album and the next is going to be using Suicide Season as a base, but pushing it further in every single way imaginable.

It’s happening with Fredrick Nordstrom again, since he made us sound so amazing last time – all very exciting, stay tuned!
