Happy pre-Record Store Day!

I hope that everyone knows what tomorrow is (besides my birthday). It's Record Store Day! I'm pretty excited the two are falling on the same date this year. Anyway, I also hope that everyone knows exactly what Record Story Day is.

It's pretty self explanatory. You go spend every last dime you have to support independent record stores and music. Not really, but that's what always happens to music lovers. It's really the celebration of music + artists + independent stores. These are stores who are self-owned and operated- no company or overhead dictating what goes on shelves and what gets sent back to the label. It's less of a numbers game and more of an appreciation for music. You know, how it should be. There aren't many still around, but thanks to this, its easy to find one.

To give you a heads up, The Bouncing Souls will release a very special, very limited 7" to celebrate RSD. Only 500 copies of this picture disc will be available nation-wide. It will feature "Gasoline," "Airport Security," "Badass" and "Never Say Die/When You're Young."
